Q4 and last year's ROAR Champion TQ's the 2009 Nationals, Truhe didn't have it too easy as Maifield's time in the earlier heat made him work. Truhe heads a Losi 1,2; who look like a very confident team with 4 cars in the main already, last man young Dakotah Phend. The big stories are Jesse Robber's continous bad luck, 4 bad rounds, and having bumped once he appeared to have engine issues in the 1/256 Odd final. Also, the lack of Pro-Line runners in the top nine; as the Losi team have opted for eclipse tyres. However, PL have Taylor James, Ryan Cavalieri, Chad Bradley and Josh Wheeler in the semis. In truggy Maifield proved unstoppable, taking a clean sweep of qualifying, although Lutz was going faster in the last heat, but problems handed TQ of Q4 to Maifield. Definately the pick for tomorrow's truggy final.

Q3 Buggy and Jason Ashton held provisional TQ for a pretty long time, with two heats left, Ryan Maifield stepped up and was the first man to beat it, going into the final heat of Q3, lots of fast guys had their eyes on the top spot, in particular Adam Drake, having TQ'd the previous qualifying round, however a poor choice of tyre compound made his car v.hard to drive, Losi team mate Mike Truhe stepped in to put in a very fast run to edge out Ryan Maifield fo Q3 TQ. Half of Q3 (truggy) was run last night, finishing a little after 9 PM, this means we have the 2nd half of Q3 (buggy) this morning, once again Ryan Maifield swept past the competition doing the only 12 lapper (12/6:31.889), having said that, Jared Tebo came pretty close! (11/6:00.935). With his Q3 TQ, Ryan Maifeld cements his place in the final and claims overall TQ in the tuggy class.
