Headline News : F1 Meets RC!
Posted by Admin on 2008/10/4 22:27:51 (1169 reads)

This weekend a small 4h endurance race was held at the track in Gland, Switzerland; not typically an event that might receive so much attention, but a coupld of famous F1 faces made an appearance. With veteran Mike Cradock and former World champion Adrien Bertin as pitmen, we believe Nicolas Hamilton had tempted his older brother Lewis & teammate Heikki to have a day off from their hectic F1 schedule and join him for a day at the offroad track!
Our insiders tell us that Lewis & Heikki didn't quite show the skill, speed and ability whilst driving the buggys they usually show behind the wheel of the Mclaren MP4-23, however it's great to see the pair able to find the time to relax away from their job. Lewis has some history with 1/8 buggy, having raced nationally and done well in '90, '91. Kudos to Nicolas for getting them out there!
