Not got a clue on any of them... Look on the Mugen website for some set ups..

CRONO's have a totally different setup to a Mugen.. Speak to Stewart Wilcox @ Models in Motion.

Ok, cheers. Just a few more questions now:

1. What sort of run times are you getting from your c6 on the byron fuel. (you use the 7mm carb insert don't you?)

2. Could you possibly post a set-up for sandy (for the crono)?

Cheers

Liam

Hi, I was hoping someone might like to try and give me some pointers on tyres.

I'm pretty new to this Nitro games but have raced touring EP for years and 10th buggies before that.

Anyway the local track i found has only recently moved to it's current venue where the track is rough cut from a field and as such the grass is pretty long providing loads of grip. But the surface is also pretty bumpy as well as it's not been rolled or had any other prep work.

I tried Hobao angle spikes for my first outing and there really good, but I think provide to much side bite so i was wondering if anyone on the forums might be able to help or might have raced on this sort of surface ??

I was thinking maybe Turbo rats , Proline step up pins GRP Grip2's ??? i dunno.

Just getting grip roll and looking to the tyres as well as set-up

Cheers

Rod
