Bio:

‘Gus’ as he is affectionately known by pretty much everyone, arrived onto the racing scene fairly late, but had plenty of natural talent; originally part of Fredrik Mathiesen’s Kyosho Sweden team he then spent a few years racing Mugen; always at the front fighting but his time really came 2005-06 as  he raced the worlds warm up in Jakarta, Indonesia and finished a strong 4th, his competitiveness that year was backed up by the Nordic Championships win in Finland. 2007 his move to Losi saw his form dip, but return in a great battle for the 2008 Swedish nationals; chasing Svensson all the way to the flag. A wonderful personality to be around in the paddock.

I was out on my mountain bike down town, accidentaly passing by a hobbyshop, and went in there to buy my brother’s son a kit, obviosly i was the one getting hooked in this hobby

My Racing last few years has had its ups and downs, 2005 I was Nordic champ in 4wd electric buggy, and 2006 was my best year so far with a Nordic Champ win, swedish cup win and 4th at preworlds in indonesia. In 2007 i had some physical problems from my former motocross career, which had its impact on the results, I was so close to ending my career in late 2008, when some of my closest friends stepped in and helped me out, thanks buds!! 2011 I hope will be the year i get the last few forward steps to get some sweet wins again.
