Reedy Zappers SG2 Competition HV-LiPo batteries

Team Associated have introduced the new Reedy Zappers SG2 HV-LiPo batteries. Zappers SG2 batteries continue to utilize silicon-graphene construction but with an emphasis on reducing internal resistance and increasing cycle life. Zappers SG2 batteries feature a 7.6 nominal voltage, meaning that with a suitable charger, the battery can be safely charged to 4.35V/cell. It is not a secret that more voltage equals more power, so there is no easier way to achieve a performance advantage than a higher charge voltage! However, even when the typical 8.40V (4.2V/cell) charging limit is enforced, Zappers SG2 still offers a significant advantage thanks to a flatter discharge curve, which results in more voltage deeper into the race. Zappers SG2 batteries are available in low-profile (LP) stick and shorty versions. A high quality, durable hard case helps prevent damage while embedded socket connectors keep power-robbing resistance to a minimum. Male ESC connectors are included.

ProTek Silicone Graphene + LiHV battery packs

See: ProTek R/C

AMain Hobbies have introduced their new range of ProTek RC Silicone Graphene + LiHV battery packs. The range consists of 13 battery packs including eight 2S batteries, one 3S battery, two 4S batteries and two 1S batteries, all made of 120C Silicon Graphene cells offering more power and lower internal resistance when compared to the previous ProTek LiHV Graphene packs. The discharge curve is flatter, meaning the cells maintain higher voltage throughout the discharge cycle with no significant drop off. Additionally, when compared to conventional LiPo batteries Silicon Graphene batteries are lighter, providing a higher capacity per gram ratio.
