Ryan LeCuyer appointed as new SOAR USA assistant Team Manager

Soar Speedbull USA have appointed Ryan LeCuyer as the new assistant Team Manager. R.LeCuyer will be working under Jeremy Moser the teams National Manager and will assist in media presence, brand recognition, recruiting new talent and many more activities. He has been put in place to continue to grow this new and highly competitive 1/8 scale Soar Racing program. R.LeCuyer is very excited to be working under the direction of Nate Johnston and J.Moser. He is well known in the Southern US region and looks forward to working his way around local and large events in the South East Region of the United States. R.LeCuyer has stated that he is more the enthralled with the opportunity presented. He has been racing RC Models for over 15 years and has been involved in the hobby for 20 plus years. R.LeCuyer has a great trackside deminer and is willing and able to help any racer or RC enthusiast on or off the track. He has donated time to many tracks over the years and cares deeply for his local RC community.

Muchmore Racing signs Jake Thayer

Muchmore Racing have announced the signing of Jake Thayer to their Factory race team. J.Thayer is very well known in the southern California area as being one of the best talents on the track and off. His dedication to our hobby is something special and is even more reason why he has been on our radar for sometime. He will also play a key roll in the testing and development of Muchmore’s Spec line of products to compete at the highest level. Yusuke Sugiura teams up with Yokomo & Mugen

Japanese driver Yusuke Sugiura announced on social media that he had signed with Yokomo and Mugen. The multi-times Japanese champion left Kyosho after 10 years of partnership which have been rewarded with many wins in Japan but also at international events. Y.Sugiura will use Yokomo and Mugen rides for the 2019 season, attending major events such as the 1/8th Japan Nationals where he will try to secure a third title in a row.

Bornhorst & Ogden team up with VP PowerMaster

Jake Mayo joins FX Engines

FX Engines have announced the signing of Jake Mayo to their team. The American driver will using engine combined with manifold and exhaust pipe from FX at all major US races including the 2019 Dirt Nitro Challenge.

Ben Sterling joins Nemo Racing

Nemo Racing have announced the signing of Aussie driver Ben Sterling to their factory team. The former HB Racing driver will be in attendance at all major Australian races as well as some international races but also he has been appointed as Agama distributor in Australia.

Seungjong Lee signs with Power HD

Power HD have announced the signing of Korean driver Seungjong Lee to their team. The 2WD and 4WD Stock Korean Champion will use Power HD brushless servos in his 2019 campaign. S.Lee had the following to say:

“I would like to thank Power HD to give me the opportunity to run their excellent quality servos in all of my cars. I am very proud to be part of the Power HD factory team. I will represent the servos on all upcoming races in future.”

Jeff Pfeifer joins JQ Racing as South Central region rep

JQ Racing would like to announces Jeff Pfeifer as our Southern Central region representative. Jeff’s region includes Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas. Jeff brings many years of experience from his time as national level radio controlled airplane pilot, as well as his time racing rc cars. He will be looking to help grow JQ Racing in that region and represent us at bigger races in the area.
