JQ appoint Thomas Gisler as Team Rep in Brasil

JQ Racing have appointed Thomas Gisler as new Team Representative in Brasil. Thomas brings the experience and knowledge needed to grow JQ Racing in the biggest country in South America. Thomas has won the Rio De Janeiro State championship 2 times and finished in third at the Brasilian Nationals in 2018. Thomas will continue to race his Black edition and build a solid Brasilian team to tackle the competition. When asked why he chose JQ Racing again he had this to say:

Cole Odgen signs with Hot Race Tyres

Italian company Hot Race Tyres -have announced the signing of HB Racing driver Cole Odgen to their team. C.Ogden has inked a 2-years contract as driver to use HRT products around the world, but also to help the products development as well. Bartlomiej Kramza teams up with XRAY


XRAY have announced the signing of Polish driver Bartlomiej Kramza to their team. The Polish National Junior Champion will race the XRAY XB2 & XB4 platforms at regional, national and international races including the 2019 World Championship, the XRS and Mibo Cup. The XRS Poland Junior Champion had the following to say:

“I am very happy to join the XRAY team. Thank you very much for this opportunity, and thanks to this huge support which will allow me to further improve my skills and results.”

Mike & Matt Lewis join Fastrace

Fastrace in collaboration with RC Pit Box have announced that Mike and Matt Lewis have joined the Fastrace team. Lewis brothers will be running the brilliant Fastrace options and accessories on their Team Associated rides for the 2019 season.

Alberto Garcia departs SWORKz

Spanish driver Alberto Garcia has announced on Facebook his departure from SWORKz. Over a period of 5 years, A.Garcia contributed to the many tests that led to the improvement of the S35-3 to make it a high-performance buggy. A.Garcia had the following to say:

“I would like to announce I will no longer be continuing with SWORKz RC. It has been an amazing five years together, joinning an almost unknown brand in 2013, and after a hard work by all together became a brand to be considered an option for top world class drivers. Specially I would like to thank Max Sonnleitner, Georg Horninger and Scott Yang for their support and help for all this time. Also my former teammates and Shark Racing Products with Jorge Revert for joining this project some time ago. 2019 is time for a new challenge and I am really excited about it!!!”

Jake Mayo signs with XRAY


XRAY have announced that US driver Jake Mayo is joining the RC America and XRAY Factory Team to race the XRAY XB2, XB4, XT2, XB8, XB8E, and XT8 platforms. The former Team Associated driver and multi-time Reedy outdoor off-road Champion in 2WD modified will attend regional, national and international races including the Dirt Nitro Challenge, the Reedy Race of Champions, Surf city Classic, Top gun Shootout and the ROAR nationals. Kyle McBride & Team Associated part ways
