Sweep Carbides-T tyres

Sweep Racing have introduced the new Carbides-T tyres for 1/8 Truggy. Developed by using the same pattern as the Carbides tyres for 1/8 Buggy, which is most popular pattern in Sweep’s range, the Carbides-T feature extended center pins and bigger pins than the Carbides to get get longer life tyre. The newly redesigned V2 carcase provides easy driving and less ballooning on all kinds of track surfaces. Also new is the Indigo inserts which have been redesigned and features a new shape and softness material more durable and providing less bounce and smooth driving with new Carbides-T tyres. The Carbides-T tyres are available in regular compounds (Y,S,B,R,W) and in long life compounds (YX,SX,BX,RX) as well.

Sweep Racing add new extreme soft compound tyre

Sweep Racing have added the new extreme soft compound at their off-road tyres range. The super extreme soft (gold dot) compound was developed for all different track surface and provides more traction and also an easy driving. The new compound is available in all kind of off-road tyres range.

Sweep Racing V5 1/8 buggy wheels

Sweep Racing have introduced their V5 wheels designed for 1/8 buggy. The V5 wheels feature -0.6mm offset compare with previous V4 wheels and lower inner ribs as 1mm. Lower inner ribs provide more traction on bumpy tracks and makes inserts softer. The V5 1/8 buggy wheels are made from high quality Nylon and available in both white and yellow colors.

Sweep Cellblock 1/8 buggy tyre & Indigo inserts

Sweep Racing have introduced new 1/8 buggy tyre and and Indigo closed cell foams. The Cellblock has been developed for clay or hard-packed track and blocks surface. It is designed on V5 carcase as latest Defender tyres wich provide easy driving on bumpy tracks. Also newly developed INDIGO inserts fit perfectly with V5 carcase as well. They improve life time by new mixture with 24 groove inside. The Cellblock is available in yellow, silver, blue, red and clay compounds made by characteristic rubber material.

New Sweep 1/10 carpet & astro turf tyres

Sweep Racing have added three new tyres to their range of 1/10 tyres with the Micro Dot rear tyre, the Taper Pin Wide 4WD front tyre and the Taper Pin 2WD front tyre for astro turf and carpet tracks. The design of each tyres are followed well-known shape of tyres patterns in general and are designed to allow a variety of setups with the addition of side ring for front tyres. Each tyres are easy to assemble and glue on the wheels and they have a directional design on outside of contact surface with optimized carcase design for carpet and astro turf track. The new mixtures has been developed to maximize grip on carpets and astro turf track and Red (Medium) Blue (Soft) compounds are available with sky blue foam inserts as well.

Sweep 17mm aluminium wheel nuts

Sweep Racing have introduced new 17mm aluminium wheel nuts for 1/8 vehicles. These are machined from high quality aluminium, hard anodized and they features the etched SR logo in the center of the closed end to protect from dirt and debris build-up in the axle or hub. In addition they are serrated and knurled for locking security.

Lee Martin teams up with Sweep

Sweep have announced the signing of multiple European Champion Lee Martin to their team. Lee will use Sweep rubber and products throughout the coming season on its Infinity buggies. Lee has the following to say:

“I am excited to be joining sweep for 2017. The desire to succeed and become as strong as they can be is what convinced me that Sweep is a company with the same ambition I have. Working directly with the factory will enable both of us to achieve our goals in the future! Thank you to Steve Kong for the chance to work together.”

Dani Choi TQ&Win at KMRCA Champs

Last weekend was held the Korean KMRCA National Championship in Ansan, Gyeonggi, South Korea. Sweep driver Dani Choi took the overall TQ and the win in both 1/8 Nitro Buggy and 1/8 Truggy. In Nitro Buggy Si Minsu and his teammate Jang Won Seok finished second and third respectively.
