T-Work’s SRX8 EVO stainless steel chassis protectors

T-Work’s have introduced new stainless steel chassis protectors for the Serpent SRX8 EVO. Made from strong stainless steel, they are made to protect the chassis from becoming excessively scratched or damaged on abrasive surfaces. The stainless steel chassis protectors are available in set of two for front and rear.

RC Cars Cavalieri have introduced a range of carbon fibre option parts for the Serpent Cobra SRX8. Machined from high-quality carbon fibre, the range consist of front and rear shock towers, an air filter guard as well as 0.5mm an 1.0mm arm inserts.

After three years of partnership, Shin Adachi have announced his departure from Serpent. For the meantime, there is no information to let us know who will be its new sponsor will be but if the rumor about Ryan Cavalieri at Yokomo is true, could Yokomo soon unveil his first 1/8 Nitro Buggy?

Serpent SDX4 aluminium steering crank set

Serpent have introduced a new aluminium steering crank set for the Spyder SDX4. Machined from black anodised aluminium, the parts are full ball bearing supported. Compared to the plastic stock steering crank, the aluminium steering cranks offer a heavy duty design and provide super smooth, wobble free steering motion and long lasting performance in particular on high bite track conditions.

Carlos Duraes crowned Portuguese Nitro Buggy champion

The fifth round of the Portuguese Nitro Buggy Championship was held at the Clube Radiomodelismo Freixedas track over the weekend. Carlos Duraes (Serpent) managed to take the overall TQ and in the 45 minutes final he brought home the win from Goncalo Melo (TLR) in second while Ricardo Monteiro (Mugen) came in third. Thanks to the win, C.Duraes took the Portuguese title.

Eddie Laret appointed as Serpent west coast team manager

Serpent America have announced the signing of longtime rc racer Eddie Laret. Eddie will now take on new role as the Serpent West Coast Team Manager. Eddie will be working closely with the current team. As the silly season approaches he will be looking to expand the current roster of drivers across the west coast. Teodor Ivanov doubles at ARCMBG-Steldi Air champs Rd1

This past weekend were held the first round of the ARCMBG-Steldi Air championships at the Steldi Air track in Sofia, Bulgaria. Teodor Ivanov (Serpent) was able to take the win in both E-truggy and E-buggy classes. Serpent duo of Stanimir Stanev and Julian Tolev rounded out the top 3 in E-truggy.
