RMV Tip: Add unsprung weight

Area52.cc posted this interesting tip original from RMV Deutschland, have released a quick tip in order to improve the on-track performance of your 1/8th buggy. During the 2012 World Championships in Argentina Mugen factory driver Robert Battle an others used additional weight on the steering knuckles and rear hubs in order to improve handling on certain parts of the track and extensive testing of RMV’s Matthias Reckward and others showed that adding weight in these areas indeed improves the performance at some points. Add-on weights such as the ones used on the MRX-5, are ideally suited to be fixed to existing holes, such as rear hub dirt scraper mounting positions. See the below pics of RMV Deutschland to get an idea on how to do the mod on your buggy.
