Matthias Umfahrer sweeps Carinthian Champs Rd2

This past weekend was eld the second round of the Carinthian Championship at the MBV-Nötsch track in Austria. RcConcept’s Matthias Umfahrer would sweep the nitro buggy and E-buggy classes. Matthias was able to TQ and win in both classes. Otto Knapp in second and Joachim Aichmann roundedt out the top 3 in nitro buggy while in E-buggy it was Michael Schnabl who took the second position and Niko Piotrowski the third.

Quebec RC Series Rd2 report

This week-end was held the second round of the Quebec RC Series. This race was held on the Bego RC Raceway near Montréal, home of the 2017 Quebec Classic. A rainy weather on friday but then a perfect week-end of racing. In E-Buggy the race promoter Jérôme Treignier (who were only racing this class) put 2 great runs with his RC Concept powered TLR to take the overall TQ. Jérôme also took A1 and A2 to take the overall win in front of Wesley Gurr and Eric Raymond.

Interview with Reno Savoya after the “Big Race”

RC Concept asked its iconic driver Reno Savoya what his feelings after the third round of the French Championship which brought together Elite and National drivers to make this round the biggest race of the French championship that was named the “Big Race”.

Hi Reno, this week-end was the “Big Race” in France, can you tell us more about this event ?

The Big Race is a new event organized by the French Federation where the Elite and the National drivers can meet for a 4 days race. This time it was in the middle of France in Viglain. 180 drivers were attending the event for 4 days, with a maximum track time. All driver enjoyed at least 2 hours on the track, with a great weather , a fantastic venue and a technical track. We got everything we were looking for: FUN!

RC Concept MC3X & MC5X X-LINE nitro engines

RC Concept have added the MC3X and MC5X to their X-line of nitro engines. Those engines include the new 2017 X-Line carburetor with a double bottom-end adjustment and the new 2017 DLC Coated Crankshaft (Diamond-Like Coating). The new X-Line carburetor will give you a smooth power band while the idle will be better and the top end increased.

Nicolas Uribe wins Bolivian Nats Rd1

This week-end was held the first round of the Bolivian Nationals at the fabulous track of Santa-Cruz. After taking 2 TQs, Nicolas Uribe would take the win in front of Bryan Borth in second and Diego Aldunate in third.

Reno Savoya wins at Spring Shootout

Last week-end the ARCF42 hosted its annual Spring Shootout in Saint-Bonnet-les-Oule, France. With more than 90 drivers in attendance, a perfect weather and one of the best track in France, the race has been epic!! Reno Savoya took the TQ and the overall win after the triple A-Mains in front of Julien Surget in second and Celian Rousset in third.

Kim Einert teams up with RC Concept

French company RC Concept have announced the signing of German driver Kim Einert to their factory team for 2017. Kim is a young super talented driver, who has already many good results in Germany and Europe. She is racing the German 1/10 and 1/8 nationals and the Euros. Kim will use all the RC Concept products 1/10 and 1/8, and she will attend the Neo Race next month.
