Joan Espassa win at Catalonia regional champs Rd1

This past weekend was held the first round of the Catalonia regional championship at the Racbsa Montjuic track in Barcelona, Spain. In the 45-minute nitro buggy final it was Alex Valls (XRAY) with the win, leaving behind Alex Valls (Mugen) in second by a 32-seconds margin. Carlos Pineda rounded out the top 3.

Spanish driver Juan Carlos Canas has announced on social media that he would no longer be driver for Modelix Racing and Mugen Seiki Europe. JC.Canas has shown himself over the years to be one of the few drivers who can challenge the undefeated Robert Batlle at the Spanish Championship. For a few months JC.Canas has decided to devote himself only to his career. By recently changing his mechanic and by leaving its chassis, engine and tyres sponsors, JC.Canas began a huge and radical change in his career. He stated:

Jared Tebo joins Ultimate Racing team

Modelix Racing have announced the signing of Jared Tebo to their Ultimate Racing team for the 2019 season. The former Kyosho driver will use 1/8 Nitro accessories such as starter box, fuel bottle and glow igniter from the Spanish brand and also tools, oils and greases.

Jorge Soler wins at Spanish E-Buggy Champs

The Spanish E-Buggy National Championship was held at the Pical ARC track in Valladolid over the weekend. Alberto Garcia (SWORKz) took the overall TQ after some close fights with Jorge Soler (Team Associated) during the qualifying. J.Soler won A2 and A3 meaning the overall victory from Carlos Pineda (Team Associated) in second and A.Garcia in third.

Modelix Racing have introduced the Ultimate Racing battery checker. The battery checker provides to monitor the condition of your battery packs such as Lilon (Lithium lon), LiPo (Lithium Polymer), LiFe (Lithium Ferrite), LiHV (High Voltage Lithium), NiCd (Nickel Cadmium) and NiMh (Nickel Metal Hydride). The battery checker also allows to monitor the total voltage of batteries from 2 to 8 cells and testing servo operation with three test modes including manual, auto and neutral.

Ultimate Pro-10 Dual Touch charger

Modelix Racing have introduced the new Ultimate Pro-10 Dual Touch charger. The charger features two 100 watt output ports delivering up to 20A charge current for various type of batteries including lithium, NiMh, NiCd and lead battery packs. The Pro-10 Dual Touch charger has an internal independent lithium battery balancer, individual cell balanced discharging and a fast charge with automatic charging current limit and storage model for various type of battery. It sports dual back-lit LCD displays for monitoring the input power, the capacity limit, the temperature with programmable switch-off, the temperature threshold, the processing time limit and the data store / load. The charger comes with a dual power built-in AC adapter 230V and 12V.

Ultimate M3X & M3R engine combos

Following with the previous news about the M3X engine, Modelix Racing have introduced the Ultimate engine combos with the M3X and M3R engines. The combo includes a M3X or M3R engine, the Ultimate EFRA 2141 pipe with a manifold ‘Masterfix’, a Compak clutch with aluminium shoes and 1mm springs, 13T vented clutch bell with Ultimate bearings and an air filter with pre-oiled foam.

Ultimate M-3X nitro engine

Modelix Racing have introduced the new Ultimate M-3X 3.5cc nitro engine. This is the 3 port .21 Off-Road Ultimate M3R Competition Engine. Like the M3T, it’s a 3-port O.S based engine, with the same configuration and power than its predecessor. Unlike the M3T, the M3X incorporate the following parts:

  • High precision steel rear bearing made in Japan.
  • Balanced crankshaft with tungsten weight and silicone filling.

The M3X, like the M3T, is a square stroke, specifically designed for maximum power, performance and tuneability. With this engine you will have a great and super smooth linear power from low to high R.P.M.Produced with the guaranteed OS quality, the M3X is a cheaper option with the same power and performance than its predecessor, the M3T.
