Daniel Pariente joins Modelix Racing

Modelix Racing and Hobbies Madrid TT have announced the signing of the young and talented driver Daniel Pariente to their team for the rest of the 2018 season. Pariente will use all Modelix products such as Ultimate engine, Ultimate electrics, Nitrolux fuel and Procircuit tyres with the Mugen MBX8 and MBX8 Eco.

Rubén Pérez joins Modelix Racing

Valls & Martinez win at Catalan Champs Rd3

Last weekend was held the third round of the Catalan Championships at the Pitline RC Montbrió track in Tarragona, Spain. In the nitro buggy final it was Alex Valls (Mugen) who took the win from Mugen duo of Pol Hemando Ors in second and Dani Batlle in third. In the E-buggy class Alex Martinez brought home the win from Jaume Fíguls (Mugen) and Juanma Lerma in second and third respectively.

Roca & Sbert win at Balearic Islands champs

This past weekend was held the 2018 Balearic Islands Championship at the Es Cos track in Menorca, Spain. In the Nitro Buggy class it was Martín Roca who took the win from Marc Janer Capataz in second and Maxi Carreras in third. Miquel Sbert grabbed the win in E-buggy.

Juan Carlos Canas wins at Andalusian champs Rd2

This past weekend was held the second round of the Andalusian championship at the new Antas track in Almeria, Spain. Juan Carlos Canas (Mugen) would sweep the nitro buggy class. Canas took a commanding victory in the 45-minute final by a lap from Zacarias Villalba (Mugen) in second whilst Alberto Pelaez (HB Racing) would take third a further lap down.

Ultimate 16mm conical shock pistons

Modelix Racing have introduced new Ultimate 16mm conical shock pistons for 1/8 off-road vehicles. The “Red” version features eight angled 1.2mm holes while the “Blue” version features eight angled 1.3mm holes. Both help to deliver smoother function during normal use but provide greater resistance on landings. The 16mm conical shock pistons come as pair.

Robert Batlle wins at Spanish Nats Rd1

The first round of the Spanish Nitro Buggy National Championship was held at the Neo Race RC-Redován track over the weekend. David Ronnefalk (HB Racing) took the overall TQ by winning all three qualifying rounds from Robert Batlle (Mugen) and Juan Carlos Canas (Mugen). The bad luck is going to strive again on David in Redovan, since this time it is the volume of the tank considered too big which will stop David, a tank judged as conformity in previous races… In the 45-minute final, after some changes in the lead between Batlle and Canas it was Batlle who grabbed the win with less than 1 second from Canas. Bryan Baldo (Kyosho) rounded out the top 3.

Juan Carlos Canas TQs & wins at E-buggy Spanish Nats Rd1

This past weekend was held the first round of the E-buggy Spanish Nationals at Campos track in Palma de Mallorca. Mugen driver Juan Carlos Canas took the overall TQ and the win from his team mates Jaume Fíguls in second and Martí Roca in third.
