Will Pro-Line continue to be made in the USA?
Answer: Absolutely. Pro-Line’s USA manufacturing is a real advantage in quality control and shortening the development cycle. Horizon plans to expand this capability and make more product in the USA.

Horizon Hobby have announced the acquisition of Pro-Line Racing, the leading innovator in the RC performance and customization accessory market.

Horizon Hobby have added to the Spectrum range the new S6245 high performance digital servo as well as the new Smart S1100 AC charger. The SpektrumTM team at Horizon Hobby have announced that the Spektrum Smart 100C LiPo Race Batteries have been ROAR-approved. Now that they’re certified as meeting ROAR quality and construction standards, these Smart LiPo packs will immediately be accepted for use at ROAR- sanctioned events.

It is with deep sadness we announce the unexpected passing of chief executive officer Joe Ambrose. Joe died in Champaign on January 4, 2019, at the age of 61. Longtime Horizon board member and Chairman of First Busey Corporation, Greg Lykins said, “With Joe’s passing, we have lost an amazing human being and visionary leader. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Joe have lost a dear friend and inspiring mentor.”
