Juan Carlos Canas joins Fastrace

Fastrace have announced that the young and talented Spanish driver Juan Carlos Canas has joined their racing team. His speed and maturity allow him to be considered one of the fastest drivers of the Spanish and international championship as he proved by being crowned Euro B Champion. For the 2017 season Juan Carlos will use the full range of option parts from Fastrace.

Fastrace RC8B3 aluminum option parts

Fastrace have introduced a range of new aluminum option parts for the Team Associated RC8B3. First up are the HD rear and front shock towers. They are machined from high quality aluminum, hard coated and milling to reduce the weight without weakening the parts. The rear shock tower features a thickness of 4mm and the front tower, more exposed to impacts a thickness of 6mm. Next up is the HD central differential carrier. The part is also machined from aluminum and features 2 bearings that will optimize the functioning of the brake levers. Another new part is the machined servo saver plate, more rigid that brings more strength and greater steering precision. Also new are the HD aluminum rear and front arm mounts. The A/B front arm mounts and the C/D rear arm mounts will offer more strength and also improve the precision of the suspension action.

Fast Race RC8B3 optional parts

Fastrace have introduced new option parts for the Team Associated RC8B3. First up is a set of machined +5mm aluminium 7075 only for rear shock mounts. The +5mm extra length allows better alignment of shock for best operation. Next are the anti-twist bushings which will helping to keep the front suspension pins aligned with the lower front arms providing more precise steering feeling and suspension action especially on bumpy tracks. Then comes two rear suspension mounts made from heavy brass. The “RR” part weighs 30g while the “RF” weighs 25g. These rear suspension mounts will helping to improve the RC8B3’s performance according to track conditions.

Fast Race has introduced new “Assobox” battery box for the Team Associated RC8B3. This battery box is made from ABS in blue, yellow, red and black color. It has a removable cover for easy access to the receiver battery and the lower part has a slot for the receiver battery’s wire.

Italian company Fast Race has introduced a new version of its popular battery box for Mugen MBX7R. The battery box V2 is made from ABS in fluorescent yellow, red and black color. It has a removable cover for easy access to the receiver battery and the lower part has a slot for the receiver battery’s wire.

Davide Ongaro wins Fast Race Trophy

The FastRace trophy took place on the 12th-13th March on the beautiful Asti track, Italy. With a 100+ entries, the event draw the attention of many foreign drivers from France, Switzerland and Germany in addition to the many Italians. The drivers opened the challenge on Saturday, with the controlled practice and the first two qualifiers. At the end of the 4 rounds it’s been Davide Ongaro to take the TQ, and in the 45 minutes final the Mugen-LRP ace took the win over Kyosho’s Riccardo Berton ending his domain on the Asti dirt. Marco Natale rounded up the podium, also running a Kyosho.
