Erik Becerril Rodriguez joins Team Associated

CML Distribution have announced the addition of the young gun Erik Becerril Rodriguez to their Spanish 1/8th Off-road team. 10 year old Erik has been showing great promise racing in the greater Madrid area and with guidance from experienced Dani Vega they are looking forward challenging for the top in 2020 with the Team Associated RC8B3.1!

Charlie Saunders joins CML/Team Associated

CML Distribution have announced the signing of young racer Charlie Saunders to the CML/Associated Electrics team. The current 2019 BRCA Junior Champion will campaign Reedy-powered Team Associated 2WD and 4WD platforms at BRCA National events.

Graham Alsop wins at EMAS Winter Series Rd3

The round three of the East Midland Atro Series was held at the Deerdale Off Road track in Eakring, UK. Neil Cragg (Team Associated/Alpha/Pro-Line Racing) set the overall TQ ahead of a pretty stacked out field. After a super close race in the main final Matt Lewis (Team Associated/Alpha Plus/Pro-Line Racing) and N.Cragg would miss the top step of the podium to local veteran Graham Alsop (HB Racing/Novarossi) and they would finish 2nd and 3rd.

Bradley Baird signs with Team Associated

UK’s CML Distribution have announced the signing of 10 time Irish Champion Bradley Baird to the team of Team Associated. The former JQ Racing racer will use the World Champ RC8B3.1 at the Irish championship and he will be on hand trackside at most major events so have a chat with him for any info or advice about your Team Associated off-road cars.

Jeffrey Halsema wins at Dutch 1/8 Buggy Nats Rd3

The third round of the Dutch 1/8 Buggy Nationals was held at the RC Zoetermeer track last weekend. Jeffrey Halsema (Team Associated) brought home the win from the SWORKz duo of Wesley van Helmond and Jarno Pijpersin second and third respectively.

The second round of the Dutch Nitro Buggy Nationals was held at the Fivelcrossers track in Appingedam over the weekend. Wesley van Helmond (SWORKz) took the overall TQ from his teammate Jarno Pijpers. J.Pijpers will start from pole position but after 25-minute in the lead, he suffered a flame out allowing Jeffrey Halsema (Team Associated) to take the win from Oane Storm (JQ Racing) while W.van Helmond came in third.

Mike Lewis wins at Brookthorpe Winter Series Rd4

Brookthorpe Model Car Club hosted the fourth round of the Brookthorpe Winter Series over the weekend. After four rounds of qualifying it was Mike Lewis (Team Associated) who set the overall TQ. The 15-minute Nitro Buggy final was super close between Mike Lewis and his brother Matt Lewis (Team Associated). They were split by just 1-second until the last lap and although Matt tried tried every to overtake him, Mike did not crack under pressure and took the win. Matt crossed the line in second followed by Chris Lovell (HB Racing) in third.

Boda, Sartel & Benmohamed win at Coupe des Champions

The Coupe des Champions 2018 was held on a indoor track in Louvres, France over the weekend. In the 2WD Modified class Mathieu briere took the TQ but in the finals it was young and talented Clément Boda (Team Associated) who grabbed the win from M.Briere (XRAY) in second and Jean-Pierrick Sartel (XRAY) in third. In the 4WD Modified class it was JP.Sartel who set the TQ and brought home the win from M.Briere and C.Boda, in second and third respectively. In the 2WD Stock, 9 years old driver Noha Benmohamed (XRAY) sweeps the class by TQing and winning in front of Philippe Hautecoeur in second while Fabien Coulon rounded out the top 3.
