Aigoin Racing 1/8th buggy carbon fibre side guards

French company Aigoin Racing have introduced new carbon fibre side guards for the most popular 1/8th buggies on the market. Made from high-quality carbon fibre, the side guards feature the same shape as the stock plastic parts but improve rigidity, add some flex and save weights while offering a factory style. The side guards are available for the XRAY XB8, Team Associated RC8B3 and B3.1, Mugen Seiki MBX8 and MBX7, HB Racing D817 and D819, TLR 8ight-X and SWORKz S35-3 and S35e. The set includes the mounting hardware.

Robin & Aigoin win shortened Pierrefeu GP

The Grand Prix de Pierrefeu was held this past weekend at the VAMP track near from Saint Tropez, France. In the Open Nitro Buggy class Tom Robin (Team Associated) took the overall TQ while in the E-buggy class it was Yannick Aigoin (XRAY) who set the TQ. Unfortunately heavy rain on sunday have led to cancel the finals. The ranking will be based on the qualifying results meaning T.Robin took the win from Y.Aigoin in second and Maxime Noble (Team Associated) in third in Open Nitro. Y.Aigoin brought home the win in E-buggy.

Armand Lantheaume doubles at French 1/10 Buggy Nats Rd3

The third round of the French 1/10 Buggy National Championship was held at the MBGO track in Gonfreville l’Orcher. In 2WD XRAY’s Armand Lantheaume took the overall TQ and the win from Stéphane Deroch in second and Ludovic “Valdo” Valtier in third. In 4WD Armand starts from the 2 spot on the grid and win the first two A finals and brings home the win from young and talented Clément Boda and Yokomo’s Sylvain Gallo-Selva in second and third respectively.

Yannick Aigoin wins “Fun Race”

MBCP club hosted the “Fun Race” over the weekend in Pertuis, in the south-east of France. For this race, the layout was totally revised and it will be unanimously appreciated. As usual the “Fun Race” will conciliate a relaxed but studious atmosphere (the first round of the french Championship is in 2 weeks) with a maximum time spent on the track. If Saturday everything gone be allright, the rain will stop the race on Sunday. In the end XRAY’s Yannick Aigoin took the win followed by Edouard Hugon in second position and Eliot Marco in third place.

Sartel & Brière win french 1/10 Nats Rd1

Last weekend took place the first round of the French 1/10 National in Louvres, near from Paris. In both 2WD and 4WD, it was Jean-Pierrick Sartel who took the overall TQ in the qualifying rounds. In 2WD final Sartel confirms his speed and grabs the win in front of Reno Savoya in 2nd and his teammate Armand Lanthaume in 3rd. In 4WD another XRAY driver, Mathieu Brière took the win from Sartel and Valentin Peuziat in second and third respectively.

Well known racer Yannick Aigoin was in touch with us after the Montpellier GP in France a couple of weeks ago to announce the partnership between his company Aigoin Racing & Meccamo – the well established fuel firm.
