Pro-Line unveils unnamed 1/8 tyres

Dejan Cigler wins at Slovenia Nats Rd1 & Rd2


The first two rounds of the Slovenian Nationals championship were held recently. In the E-buggy finals the local HB Racing driver Dejan Cigler was able to took the win in front of XRAY’s Peter Cej in second and Agama’s Andraž Štefe in third.

MCD Rally-Xross wheels & tyres

MCD have introduced the new Rally-Xross wheels and tyres designed for both rally cars and buggies to be driven on compact gravel and dusty tarmac surfaces. The Rally-Xross tyres can be using also on buggies with a longer gear ratio due to 160mm tyre diameter. Compared to the MCD’s Dirt-Xross which is 180mm, the new tyres offer low center of gravity which can eliminate traction roll in some circumstances.

XRAY XB8 soft & ribbed shock membranes

XRAY have introduced new soft and ribbed shock membranes for the XB8 and XT8. These shock membranes are molded from softer transparent rubber. They offer less rebound and are better for bumpy tracks and high speed tracks. The membranes feature an internal bottom ribs to maintain shape while the specially-formulated rubber material ensures equal damping characteristics from the beginning of the race to the end, even after extreme operation. Available in set of four.


HB Racing D817T 185mm HD dogbone

HB Racing have introduced 185mm HD dogbone with short pin for the D817T and E817T Truggies and E817 E-buggy. This heavy duty center dogbone is thicker in diameter, which increases the strength and durability of the drivetrain. It’s standard equipment on the center/rear of the HB Racing D817T truggy and center/front of the E817T truggy. It can also be used as a heavy duty option part on the center/front of the E817 buggy.

Quebec RC Series Rd2 report

This week-end was held the second round of the Quebec RC Series. This race was held on the Bego RC Raceway near Montréal, home of the 2017 Quebec Classic. A rainy weather on friday but then a perfect week-end of racing. In E-Buggy the race promoter Jérôme Treignier (who were only racing this class) put 2 great runs with his RC Concept powered TLR to take the overall TQ. Jérôme also took A1 and A2 to take the overall win in front of Wesley Gurr and Eric Raymond.

Baruffolo wins EURO Contest E-Buggy

The Ruddog sponsored E-Buggy class at the past weekend’s EURO Contest in italy, produced an all Italian podium, with the three drivers each sharing a victory leg. A1 was run on the Saturday night under the lights, a great race, very high tempo ending in the Corally-powered Marco Baruffolo taking the victory having TQ’d as well. Leg two however would go to former TLR team mate Alex Zanchettin, himself powered by Italy’s Tommy Garage motor manufacturer. Not to be outdone, Davide Ongaro motored his way into A3 and took the win, the resulting podium finishers tying on points (each one with a first and 2nd) but with Baruffolo taking the overall victory.

East Coast Race Against Cancer announcement

From 22 to 24 September, LCRC Raceway will host the 15th East Coast Race Against Cancer (RAC). The race will be held in 1/8 Nitro Buggy and Truggy, E-Buggy, 1/10 2WD and 4WD Buggy and SCT. Since 2001, this annual Remote Control Car charity race has raised over $131,000 for the American Cancer Society. Scott Siegel from the Racers Against Cancer Enterprises stated:
