Arrowmax 4mm & 5mm low-profile plugs

Arrowmax are introduced their own version of 4mm and 5mm low-resistance battery plugs. The plugs utilise a super low-profile design and come with a grooved top to aid soldering, 24K gold plated with a 6-point design for exceptional conductivity.

Hobbico stop Team Durango activities

Hobbico announced that they had put an end to the slow agony of Team Durango started two years ago. We had learned the difficulties of the brand when Hobbico, to try to save TD, had ended the sponsorship of its iconic drivers lsuch as Jorn Neumann and Ryan Lutz and considerably slowed down the development of their vehicles. Team Durango will then be less and less present in competition and generally on the international scene, less mediaized than before and despite its notoriety Team Durango will not have succeeded to regain its place on the market. Despite this sad news, Hobbico announced that ARRMA will continue its activities.

Jean-Pierrick Sartel doubles at “the nocturne” race

This past weekend was held a night race at the CARCA track called “the nocturne” in Noeux-les-Mines, France. This race started on Saturday afternoon and finished on Sunday at 3am. The race format was two free practices, three qualifying rounds and 3 finals for each drivers. XRAY’s Jean-Pierrick Sartel would sweep both nitro buggy and E-buggy classes. Jean-Pierrick took the overall TQ and the victory in the nitro buggy final from Jérôme Sartel in second and Félix Koegler in third. Jean-Pierrick has continued its momentum in E-buggy by TQing and wining in front of Jérôme Sartel and Sébastien Wartelle in second and thirs respectively.

Daniel, Buckhorn & Tourle win at HNMC Summer Rd8

Over 50 drivers attended the eigth and last round of the HNMC Summer Series this past weekend. Qualifying would go to James Harrold in nitro buggy, George Miller in E-Buggy and Richard Cousins in truggy. In the nitro buggy class Michael Daniel would take the win from Simon Miller in second while Steve Johnson rounded out the podium result in third. E-Buggy saw Wayne Buckhorn grabbind the win in front of Pona Vasipoulos and George Miller in second and third respectively. Finally in Truggy it was Brim Tourle who took the win from Nicky Knights in second while Tom Shawe came in third.

Jordan Huzel sweeps Calgary Stampede Race

The Calgary Stampede Race was held at the RC Gears track in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. In E Buggy, it is on a track layout more narrow and tighter then the last few years that XRAY’s Jordan Huzel has took the overall TQ by TQing the first and third rounds then he won A1 and A3 main finals. Carter H in second and Byron Mackenzie in third, Robert Bowers in fourth and Patrick Erickson in fifth rounded out the top 5.

AVID RC8B3 & MBX7 FastTune camber shims

Made for both Team Associated RC8B3 and Mugen MBX7 are the AVID FastTune camber shims. The FastTune camber shims are made from Aluminum 6065-T6 anodized in black and designed to allow you to easily adjust your camber on popular pillow ball designs without having to fully unthread them. The tab feature helps you keep them in place as you tighten down the pillow ball. Don’t get caught up in all the complicated sizes AE has introduced, 0.5 and 1.0mm shims have been working for Mugen since the dawn of time. Also fits to other cars with 6mm threaded pillow balls.

Aleš Bidovský doubles at RCHobby Grand Prix

This past weekend was held the RCHobby Grand Prix in Czech Republic. In nitro buggy it was XRAY driver Aleš Bidovský who took the overall TQ and after some changes to the set-up, he was able to win in front of Fillip Rajdus in second and his teammate Martin Rytíř in third.

LRP lost Sanwa distribution

Sanwa have announced that their distribution contract with LRP expired on June 30, 2017. Based on Sanwa’s list of distributors, LRP would have been replaced by HOECO for the Germany, Austria and Switzerland distribution. Nevertheless, LRP have announced that they were able to stabilize their sales during the preliminary insolvency proceedings and in addition, they have implemented further restructuring measures, in particular personnel adjustments. This information was confirmed by LRP General Manager Jürgen E. Lautenbach who also added:
