Hot Race Tyres from Italy have introduced their new clay rubber compounds. Developed especially with the demanding clay-type tracks in mind, the rubber will extract the maximum traction and performance from the tyre and it will become available in soft and hard compounds for both the existing range of 1/8th treads and also the new 1/10th buggy tyres.

French company RC Concept have announced the signing of German driver Kim Einert to their factory team for 2017. Kim is a young super talented driver, who has already many good results in Germany and Europe. She is racing the German 1/10 and 1/8 nationals and the Euros. Kim will use all the RC Concept products 1/10 and 1/8, and she will attend the Neo Race next month.

Sweep Racing have introduced new 17mm aluminium wheel nuts for 1/8 vehicles. These are machined from high quality aluminium, hard anodized and they features the etched SR logo in the center of the closed end to protect from dirt and debris build-up in the axle or hub. In addition they are serrated and knurled for locking security.

Ryan Maifield put any fustrations from yesterday firmly to bed as he opened up the 3rd (and last) round of qualifying with a TQ of the open E-Buggy class. Going into the last round the overall spot was between Maifield and Tessmann, the pair in the lead of the heat after Ronnefalk made a mistake early on having led after 4 laps. Maifield would make it round for a decisive 14 lapper, Tessmann just missing out, caught by the tone with 13/7:00.905, Tebo would claim 3rd and a strong 4th for Serpent’s Billy Easton.

The fourth and last Indoor Bike Park GP was held a the Indoor Bike Park in Pfäffikon, Switzerland. The track will changing throughout the day and this makes it challenging even though otherwise it doesn’t wear at all or develop holes. After the three qualification rounds XRAY’s Robin Frischkopf managed to TQ both 1/8 E-Buggy and 4wd.
After some amazing finals and close fights with Daniel Caviezel, Pascal Jutz, Romeo Grass and Kevin Zwahlen Robin grabbed the win both classes. In 1/8E his teammate Romeo Grass finished in second and Kevin Zwahlen in third while in 4wd it was Pascal who took the second spot and Daniel Caviezel the third. With three victories in 1/8, one in 4WD and two podiums out of four races, Robin also won the 1/8 E-Buggy and 4WD IBP championships.

After the annoucement of both the NORDIC and EURO Contest (Facebook) Bittydesign have announced that the inscriptions are officially open for these races:
- To sign up to the NORDIC Contest (EFRA Euro A Warm-up) please click here (Max. numbers of drivers allowed to the race is 192 people). The event will be held in 1/8 Nitro Buggy and 1/8 Brushless Buggy.
- To sign up to the EURO Contest please click here (Max. numbers of drivers allowed to the race is 220 people). The event will be held in 1/8 Nitro Buggy Pro F1, 1/8 Nitro Buggy Open F2 and 1/8 “RUDDOG” Brushless Buggy.
