Ultimate 4S 7500mAh Graphene LiHV battery pack

Modelix Racing have introduced the new Ultimate Racing 15.2V 7500 mAh Graphene LiPo High Voltage battery pack. The 4S battery measures 138x46x49, or the standard size equivalent to two 2S stick batteries and weighs approximately 560g. The battery is built from Graphene LiPo cells that offer up to 120C discharge rates and a very low internal resistance for high power output. The Graphene 4S 7500mAh LiHV battery pack comes with an XT90 connection to avoid false contacts and a separate balancer cable to only connect it in the charging process.

Schimmel & Woodyard win at Tiltyard Sunday Club race

The Tiltyard Sunday Club race was held in Dayton, Virginia over the weekend. Brennan Schimmel (Kyosho/REDS Racing/AKA) brought home the win in the 30-minute Nitro Buggy final from Ethan MacKanick (XRAY/FX Engines/Pro-Line Racing) in 2nd and Paul Ciccarello (XRAY/Picco/Hobbywing/Motiv/AKA) in 3rd.

Burak Kilic wins at ECN race

The ECN race was held in Salzgitter, Germany over the weekend. On Saturday, heavy rains made it impossible to drive, however on Sunday the sun came back and the race could be held. The E-buggy class was won by Burak Kilic (Mugen Seiki/Hobbywing/Gens Ace/Procircuit) in front of his brother Berkan Kilic (Mugen Seiki/Hobbywing/Gens Ace/Procircuit) in second while Frank Grieger (Mugen Seiki) rounded out the top 3 result.

Caleb Noble doubles at Mackay Rc Mad race

The Mackay RC Mad hosted their race in Bakers Creek, Australia. After all the qualifying complete, Caleb Noble (Mugen Seiki/REDS Racing) TQed all 5 rounds to start P1 in both the Nitro Buggy and E-buggy classes. C.Noble took a clean start to cruise away to secure a 2 lap lead over Antony Gaunt in second to take the win. Jordan Van came in third.

T-Work’s 1/8th buggy droop & rebound gauge

T-Work’s have introduced a new droop and rebound gauge especially designed for 1/8th Off-road buggies. Machined from high-quality aluminium, the tool comes anodized in black and sports white markings with a range of 60mm up to 150mm making it easy to use and read. Simply slide the cap over the nut that holds the shock to measure and adjust the droop screws as needed.

Pelle Culmsee takes double 2020 Danish 1/8th Buggy titles

The fourth and penultimate round of the Danish 1/8th Buggy Nationals was held at the Modelbilklubben SOS track in Bjæverskov over the weekend. Pelle Culmsee (SWORKz/Picco Engines/Maclan Racing/T-Pro) was the man to beat in the Nitro Buggy and E-buggy classes. He set the overall TQ and brought home the win in both classes from Nikolai Lamberts (Serpent/Novarossi/NitroLux/Procircuit) in 2nd and Daniel Bubel (XRAY/FX Engines/AKA) in 3rd in Nitro Buggy while D.Bubel and Mikkel Vesterland (JQRacing) completed the podium result in E-buggy. Thanks to these wins, P.Culmsee add two more titles in his book.

REDS 30mm aluminium cooling fan

REDS Racing have introduced a new 30mm aluminium cooling fan designed for their Z8 Gen1, Z8 Gen2 as well as the 1-10 ZX Pro Escs. Featuring ball bearings and a full aluminum case, the fan has been specifically developed to guarantee up to 28000 RPM and to dissipate heat in hot conditions and to improve durability. The aluminum frame work adds strength to the assembly, helping protect the fan blades in the event of a crash.
