T-Work’s have introduced new male 4.0mm diameter gold plated connectors. Ideal for high current/high voltage applications, they feature a lower resistance than a typical Dean’s style ultra plug. The bullet connectors can be used for battery connectors or motor to speed control connectors ad they are a great power connector for devices such as speed controls, battery chargers, and power meters. They can be used for flat or in-line soldering.

The R2.1 lightweight wing for 1/10th off-road vehicles has been designed for a much lower slick look with plenty wheel clearance and now is available in a lightweight form that comes in at only 16g. Camden Lime teams up with SWORKz

SWORKz have announced the signing of the young and talented US racer Camden Lime to their Factory team. The former HB Racing driver will be running SWORKz’s 1/10th and 1/8th off-road vehicles at major National and international events in the next years.

Futaba HPS-CT700 brushless servo

Japanese company Futaba have introduced the new HPS-CT700 low profile brushless servo. Housed in a machined aluminium case the Futaba HPS mode supporting servo is capable of speeds of down to 0.07s with a torque of up to 30kg-cm when operated with 7.4V input. The servo is also S.Bus2 and SR (Super Response) mode compatible and can bu use with the Futaba T7XC, T7PX and T4PM radios. Available in January 2020.

Toms Pukitis wins at Estonian Nats Rd2

Round 2 of Estonian 1/10th buggy Nationals was held at the newly finished Saue HOBIzone indoor track in Saue. The small technical track will be pretty challenging even for the best Latvia and Estonia drivers. In 4WD qualifying, Reimo Kosk (Team Associated) took TQ in front on the XRAY duo of Toms Pukitis (XRAY) and Jüri Ressar (XRAY) closely followed by Andreas Tolpt and Tonis Lattik. R.Kosk would go on to win in A1 after a tense fight with T.Pukiti. As the young XRAY driver took A2 win, the overall win will be played in A3. In the middle of the final however R.Kosk would face technical issues, leaving the door open for T.Pukiti and his teammate J.Ressar. Overall T.Pukiti brought home the win from R.Kosk in 2nd and J.Ressar in 3rd.
