Bio:

Favourite track: All Arizona local tracks
Favourite Event: Nitro Challenge and Cactus Classic
Best RC moment: Having everything come together throughout most of the 2010 Ifmar World Championships in Thailand.  Although the final result was not what I felt it should have been, the week went very well.
Goals: Just like most people in the industry, I would love to capture a US National Championship and World Championship.
Best RC buddies: My friends know who they are!  I would hate to forget to list someone so I will just group them all together. 🙂
RC Rivals: Ryan Maifield.  Although we get along and like battling each other, the AZ locals always consider us to be rivals.

In his own words:

I got started in R/C when my step-brother brought over his RC10T2 and told me that he raced it on a regular basis just a few miles from my house.  I had already been playing around with a Kyosho Ultima electric buggy, so this made me upgrade to a Team Losi XXT-CR and head over to the track to check it out.  I started racing dirt oval at the end of 1997 at that same facility, and decided to try off road in 2000 at SRS.  I have been hooked ever since, racing nitro and electric off-road as well as some dirt oval.

Career Highlights:

A handful of 2nd’s!: 2nd place at the 2008 Roar Buggy Nationals.  2nd place at the 2009 Silver State Nitro Challenge in Invite Buggy.  2nd place at the 2009 Nitrocross World Championships in Invite Buggy.  I also have a 3rd place finish at the 2007 Roar Nationals in 2wd Modified Buggy.  A very bittersweet result would be the 2010 Ifmar World Championships in Pattaya, Thailand.  I qualified 5th overall even with some problems, and felt very good for the Semifinal.  A broken body would end my hopes of making the Final, and I was forced to settle with a 19th place finish.  In dirt oval racing I have 9 US Open Wheel Championship victories, which is most prestigious dirt oval race in the country.
