The first round of the 2020 RC Pro Series was held at the 452 raceway near Tyler, Texas. The event attracted 121entries and was held in several 1/8th Off-road classes. In the Pro Nitro Buggy class it was Jake French (Agama/REDS Racing Engines/AKA) who set the overall TQ while the Pro E-buggy class saw Dillon Caldwell (HB Racing/REDS Racing/VP Fuel/JConcepts) taking the overall Top Qualifier spot. In the 30-minute Nitro Buggy final, the TQ holder J.French started out strong as he slotted into second behind Tyler Hooks (Tekno RC/BLOK Engines/Team Tekin Racing/AKA) and they pulled away from the rest of the field but not to far T.Hooks had a mechanical issue handing J.French the lead. J.French was able pull a 15-second gap over the next 25-minute but with just under 5 min, the front right and left rear tires started to come unglued. Once on the track, J.French got caught up in lap traffic and on the last lap, D.Caldwell passed him when he had a slight bobble ending in a finish only a tenth apart. Another Nemo Racing USA racer, Brandon Rose (Agama/Picco/Tekin/Pro-Line Racing) rounded out the top 3 results.

In the E-buggy finals, T.Hooks had a good size lead in both mains but he crashed in the front double double section which let D.Caldwell go on by and took the overall win while B.Rose putting crazy pressure on D.Caldwell the whole A2 final. Overall B.Rose came in second and T.Hooks in third.
