The 2019 New York Winter Championships were held at the Makintraxx Rc raceway in Rush, Western New York attracting 240 entries. The track is a big wet clay track which was pretty challenging to get used to.The track started off very slick in the beginning of the day and slowly got more grip. Aaron Kothman (TLR/Hobbywing/Pro-Line Racing) set the overall TQ in 2WD Modified Buggy while Kevin Siller (Team Associated/Pro-Line Racing) took the TQ in 4WD Modified Buggy. The 2 Wheel Drive saw a great battle between A.Kothman and Mark Sousa (XRAY/Pro-Line Racing) for the lead in A1. In A2 M.Sousa was able to make a pass early to take the lead and led the entire race until he made a small mistake on the second to last lap which would cause him to lose the lead and give it back to A.Kothman. M.Sousa would finish second. In the last A-main both drivers have some battles in the beginning for the overall win. M.Sousa was able to finally get around A.Kothman after a few laps and he would be able to open up the gap and take the win and so also the overall. A.Kothma came in 2nd and Kyra Bach (Team Associated) rounded out the top 3 results.

In the 4WD Modified Buggy class, M.Sousa coming from the 2nd spot on the grid was able to take two out of the three A-mains and for the overall win. K.Sillar and Mike Rowley (Team Associated) completed the top 3 results.
