The 2019 Asia Fever was held at one of the most unique venues, a track under a busy freeway in Taoyuan, Taiwan. The weather, a cool autumn breeze kept all the drivers in the pit well ventilated and comfortable throughout the entire event. The event attracted more than 100 racers from Taiwan, HK, Macau, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Korea and Japan including the former World Champion Atsushi Hara (HB Racing/O.S.Engines/Pro-Line Racing) who took the overall TQ by winning three out of four rounds of qualifying. Ryan Lee (SWORKz/argus Engines/TPro) secured the 2nd overall in qualifying by TQing the last heat. In the final A.Hara made a clean start, closely followed by Kevin Lee (Agama/Argus/Beta) before an error dropped him down the order. Japanese racer Manabu who recently made the switch from Kyosho and then Jade Lim (team Associated/Reedy/AKA) fought to challenge A.hara for the lead but he managed to stay in the lead and he crossed the line in first and thus ended a flawless weekend with the victory. J.Lim came in 2nd while Sam Chen (Agama) rounded out the top 3.
