The 4WD portion of the 2019 IFMAR 1/10th Off-road World Championships was held at the HUDY Arena in Trencin, Slovakia. After five intensive rounds of qualifying between Bruno Coelho (XRAY/Hobbywing) and Dakotah Phend (TLR/Trinity) it was B.Coelho who set the overall TQ. The finals were also very close between both drivers. D.Phend is gonna take the opportunity of B.Coelho’s mistake to take the win in the first final. In the 2nd final, D.Phend will put pressure on B.Coelho that he will eventually pass on a jump. But a few laps later D.Phend makes a mistake and B.Coelho will be leading the way again. Despite a better pace that will allow him to catch up with B.Coelho quickly, D.Phend will not be able to pass him. The last final will settle the tie between the two drivers. B.Coelho, more consistent will take the victory and thus the title with a 5-second margin over Phend. Michal Orlowski (Schumacher/LRP) rounded out the top 3.
