The Limbazi RC track hosted the 2019 Baltic Cup in Latvia. The event was held in the Nitro Buggy and E-buggy classes and attracted the best drivers from 5 countries, producing amazing racing throughout the weekend. In qualifying it would be Karl Kasekamp (XRAY) in Nitro Buggy and Hendrik Lainemäe (XRAY) taking the overall TQ. In Nitro Buggy H.Lainemäe and K.Kasekamp would take their respective semi-final wins followed closely by Domantas Cesiulis, Rainer Ressar and Robin Ilus. After some technical issues with timekeeping 2 separate final would be run with aggregate results being the only option with the sunlight fading quickly. In the end it was H.Lainemäe who would come out on top in front of K.Kasekamp and R.Ilus. D.Cesiulis and Jaanus Saare rounded out the top 5. In E-buggy, H.Lainemäe cruised to the win, taking all three finals with ease followed by D.Cesiulis in second and local star Kristers Freimanis in third.
