The third round of 2019 Czech Open Series was held last weekend at the Horni Jeleni track. Rain fell down on Friday morning making the track was nicely wet in the afternoon for practice and was in a nice shape for the race on Saturday. Max Gotzl (XRAY) was able to take the TQ in both Nitro Buggy and E-buggy with Tomas Kapicka (Kyosho) in second and Martin Vins in third in Nitro Buggy while Jiri Benes (XRAY) and Michal Binder (XRAY) rounded out the top 3 in E-buggy. In the 30-minute Nitro Buggy final M.Gotzl started off strong making the gap already on the first lap, which he was able to make even bigger through the run and in the end cross the finish line in first. T.Kapicka finished in second also with a comfortable gap from Vladimir Pour (XRAY) in third.

M.Gotzl was able to convert the TQ into the win in E-buggy by winning A1 and A2 with a huge gap. Then it was a fight between J.Benes and M.Binder, as both of them didn’t finish one run, but in the end it was J.Benes who came in second and M.Binder rounded out the top 3.
