Last weekend was held the Picco B-racing Trophy at the Nitropark pietrasanta track in Italy. A strong turnout of racers attended the event and despite some clouds the race day was pleasant until the finals where even light rain started to fall. In the F1 class Tuscan driver Fabrizio Teghesi (Kyosho) for his first race with the MP10 set the best lap and took the win in front of Alessio Mordini (HB Racing) in second and former European Champ Samuele Lenzi (XRAY) in third.

In E-buggy, due to the muddy track, only the first two finals counted for the overall ranking. Alessandro Giraldi (Team Associated) took the win from Marco Marini (TLR) in second while Giacomo Pierini (Mugen) came in third. The F2 A final was full of twists and turns. Michelucci was forced to retire after breakage on his buggy halfway through the final leaving Melani Giacomo (Mugen) coming from 3rd spot to take the lead until the end. Luca Risi (XRAY) finished in second while Simone Bonaccorsi (Team Associated) came in third. In the F2 B final the local rider Roberto Tranchida (Radiosistemi) brought home the win by 2 laps from Simone Mozzato in second and Federico Marini (Mugen) in third. In the F2 C final it was Massimiliano Benigni (TLR) with the win followed by the Mugen duo of Claudio Leonardo and Massimiliano Giannini in second and third respectively.

Thanks to Roberto Tranchida for the report.
