An incredibly eventful couple of semi finals saw event favourite Davide Ongaro retire after only 3 laps, with a suspected front gearbox issue, his mechanics unable to get him fired up and running again, Ongaro will have to try and fight his way through the Last Chance Qualifier – starting last, 10mins with 11 other drivers infront… can he do it and be LUCKY #13 in the final?

Juan Carlos Canas would win the first semi as he managed to overtake Bruno Coelho whilst in the first semi Robert Batlle would get it wrong over a jump and that compromised his whole final with Ronnefalk allowed to escape out front and gap everyone leaving Elliott Boots running 2nd and Savoya 3rd before his car expired. Boots looked set for 2nd until he (we believe) ran out of fuel 3 corners from home gifting starting spots in the main final. Great to see Miguel Matias in the final, at what he is calling his ‘last ever race’.
