The March Turf Meltdown race was held at Radio Controlled Hobbies and Raceway in Waterbury, Connecticut. There were approximately 100 entries, with many of the fastest racers from the Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and Rhode Island. The track is on the smaller size, with medium bite turf that is not entirely smooth (the turf was laid down on top of compacted dirt and is not perfectly flat). In both 13.5 4wd buggy and Mod 2wd buggy classes it was XRAY’s Brent Sianez who took the overall TQ and the win. In 13.5 4wd buggy Team Associated’s Scott Furtado and TLR’s Anthony Robles rounded out the top 3 while in Mod 2wd buggy, XRAY driver Blake Wazoch and TLR driver Anthony Mazara finished in second and third respectively.
