This past weekend was held the 2018 Reedy Race of champions at OCRC. The first day the track was loose but was only getting better the more drivers ran on it. After four intensive rounds of qualifying in 4WD Open, XRAY’s Cj Jelin was able to took the overall TQ. A1 of 4wd mod buggy, CJ was nervous for the first couple minutes but he managed to finish in second. The start of 4wd A2 CJ made a small mistake that let Aydin Horne get past. Then Aydin had a mistake in the same lap allowing CJ to be back in first. CJ had a clean run with no mistakes to take the win in A2 and the overall win for open 4wd buggy. Aydin Horne and Kyle Turner rounded out the top 3. In 2wd mod buggy it was Team Associated’s Brad Shearer who tooke the win from XRAY duo of Tommy Hinz in second and Cj Jelin in third.
