Wet damp weather conditions greeted the 70 racers that braved it for the fifth round of the HNMC Winter Series. The track coped well with the conditions which lead to close racing. Tyre choice would be the most important factor with everyone running the softest compounds they could find. After the qualifying rounds, Michael Lewis took the TQ in nitro buggy, Simon Reeves in E-Buggy and Oliver Talbot in Truggy. With no let-up in the weather finals would be 15mins in length to help drivers cope. In nitro buggy final it was Team Associated driver Jamie Clancy who managed to take the win from HB Racing driver Graham Alsop in second and HB Racing’s Simon Reeves in third. In E-buggy, Reeves grabbed the victory in front of another HB Racing driver, Neil Bent and SWORKz driver George Miller in second and third respectively. In Truggy Oliver Talbot brought home the win.
