Herts Nitro Model Club track hosted the 9th HNMC Winter over a dry weekend. The Herts track team has been busy getting ready again UK’s premier track facilities. The event welcomed just under 100 entries. Joni Skidmore set the TQ pace in Nitro Buggy, along with Nigel Morris in E-Buggy, and James Tatlow in Truggy. Finals were run in the low light and cold weather which will complicate the tyre selection. In E-Buggy Richard Cousins won the final in front of Martin Hart and Pona Vasipoulos. In Truggy James Tatlow kept the pace of qualifying and won in front of Bernard Wija in second. In the Nitro Buggy final Skidmore will not be able to take the advantage of the TQ due to a bad choice of tyres but he will still finish in the 3rd position. Michael Lewis will benefit to win ahead Simon Reeves in second.
