The first round of the 2017 Spring Nationals from the Bermuda Nitro Racing Association was held last weekend at a track in southside of St. David’s island. This is a three race series and it was also the tenth race of the 2016/2017 seasons. There were 14 racers taking part in the race. In Nitro Buggy Kwa-Z Dill took the overall TQ as well as the win in the A Main final. This was his 7th win of the season and his 8th TQ. Timer Maybury in second and AB in third rounded out the top 3. In the Spring Nationals three race series standings, the top three drivers are Kwa-Z Dill in first, Timer Maybury in second, and AB in third. For the spring nationals, the drivers worst finishing is dropped, leaving the best two finishes counting.
There were 5 Truggies racing with the final positions determined using a qualifying points system. Quincy Aberdeen grabed the win from Aaron Deshield and Steven Fox second and third respectively.
