Silly Season Overload!

Sources tell us that Kyosho’s most recent World Champion Cody King may be on the verge of parting ways with the iconic Japanese brand and team up with former team mate David Ronnefalk at HB Racing, snapping up the newly vacated spot from Ty Tessmann.

A move few would have foreseen happening given Cody’s close-knit ties with the brand that he has raced for throughout his career since turning Pro, however it appears that the wheels are in motion for the four-time consecutive Worlds finalist / 2010 Champion.

Cody’s departure would leave Kyosho thinly represented at bigger events with only 3 drivers ranked within the Top 25 (Tebo, Boots & Berton).

Should the news become official it would represent one of the most high profile departures from Kyosho’s Pro team line up since David Ronnefalk’s successful switch to HB, Cody King following the same route and ensuring HB maintain their claim to having two World Champion drivers on their books.
