AUs nats podium

The MORBC club in Perth Western Australia held the third and final round of the Australian nationals under trying weather conditions in the middle of August.  With plenty of rain throughout the meeting, the club and all the track crew did a superb job to give the racers a full program.

The hour buggy main was held on an ever changing track that started off slick and as the sun came out and dried the track the groove began to appear and lap times dropped.  Kyle McBride led the field away, a bobble on the first lap dropped him to the middle of the pack and he spent a couple of laps working his way past Zac Ryan in second and Craig Laughton in the lead.

As the track dried and Kyle clicked off the laps he was chased down by Aaron Stringer who had moved into second place. Aaron had great speed however Kyle managed the race from the front and took the win ahead of Aaron and Zac.  In truggy McBride also took the win ahead of Kyle Francis and Mitchell Steer.
