Davide Ongaro followed up his round 1 TQ by bookending qualifying as he set the pace in the final round at the Barco track, with two TQs and a 2nd place, the 15 year old Mugen driver has shown impressive consistency and will be the man to beat as fellow TQ’er Marco Baruffolo suffered a series of poor laps towards the end of his 5 minute run, climibing to 2nd was Alex Zanchettin, finally getting in a clean run after a problematic Q1 and slightly off the front running pace in Q2. Davide Tortorici would take advantage and finish up 3rd in Q3 some 3.2 secs off Zanchettin.

In the F2 class (think more club racer/sportsman), Alessandro Castoldi TQ’d the opening two rounds with times good enough for a top 10/15 even in F1, having ensured he would start first in his semi, Q3 went to Andrea Russa who would end up 4th, behind Andrea Trevisan in 3rd and Luca Iotti in 2nd.
