Last weekend the Colonels Winter Classic was held at Savannah, GA. Friday will be very humid with lots of rain and therefore with a lot of mud on the track. The result will be that qualifiers were shortened due to the call of making a 2 day race, into a 1 day race. All drivers came around to the nitro mains at about 1am. The track had dried out throughout quals and became slightly tacky again for the mains due to moisture. At the sound of the tone, Cole Ogden was able to lead the buggy race from start to finish, with its teammate Griffin Hanna finishing in the 2 spot. In truggy, Ogden will take a good clean start and ended up taking home the 2 spot, behind its teammate J.r. Mitch.
