Former World Champion Cody King got his time with Reds off to the perfect start as he took the win at Revelation Raceway’s WinterNats held on Saturday 2nd February. TLR’s Adam Drake TQ’d now ‘officially’ running the 3.0 – having raced with a development version close to the production car for an extended period of time, starting on P1 Adam Drake led the first lap but suffered a disastrous lap 2 & 3 as he dropped 13 secs / around half a lap off the leader Cody Kin. Drake pushed hard and would climb back to 2nd but Cody ran clean laps, for some reason 3rd placed qualifier Cody Smith didn’t start the main, whilst Agama racer Jeremy Kortz would end up retiring with six and half minutes left on the 30 min clock. Mike Truhe made his way into 3rd having qualified 3rd, running what appears in the picture above at least to be a Novarossi – perhaps opting for the same package as TLR team mate Adam Drake, his 3rd place meant a podium lock out for Pro-Line. Sean Gaffney would take 4th and a strong result for Bradley Baird, the young Irish JQ driver finding his way all the way on the West Coast of Cali, visiting with team DXR’s Elliot Taylor.
