[Press Release]

There’s no harsher environment for an R/C race-car than in 1:8 Nitro Rallycross. Hour-long mains, numerous bump-ups and some of the toughest, bumpiest and unforgiving tracks take their toll on inferior equipment. Above almost everything, reliability, durability and consistency are traits that Rallycross Racers relate with and to.

There’s never been a greater exponent of the adage “To finish first, first you have to finish” and that’s why the Team Losi Racing 8ight platform has been one of the most universally acclaimed and revered 1:8 off-road cars since its inception some seven years ago.

Through excellence in design and R/C race-car understanding, the original 8ight became an instant hit when it was first announced. It became the new benchmark for the modern breed of 1:8 Nitro Rallycross cars. The ante was upped and the 8ight changed the previous status quo. Refinements along the way led to the 2.0 and the 2.0 EU platforms as the Team Losi Racing engineers continued to improve the 8ight as an overall racing platform. The competition edged closer but each time, the Team Losi Racing engineers and racing drivers took the 8ight to improved and new levels of performance.
