Relative newbie to the hotly competitive Offroad world of 1/8 buggy tyres is Beta tyres who have chosen to contact their drivers ahead of the IFMAR World Championships in Argentina in 4 weeks time with regards to the difficulty in arranging for product to be shipped there.

After researching the possibilities of shipping out plenty of stock to supply the team for this prestigious event, unfortunately we have been unable to find a solution to do this in a financially viable way. During this process we have contacted IFMAR for guidance, and received very little help as no proceeding arrangements have been made by the organisers to assist manufactures in shipping the equipment to Argentina. The official website doesn’t even have a contact e-mail address to help us.

Of course we have all seen the problems encountered by the likes of JConcepts in getting tyres to the Warm Up Race last month and the exorbitant customs charges they were faced with for only 3 boxes. As a new company this year, those sort of costs are not something we can justify, as on top of that we would have to ship some of the boxes both ways also.

As a result, we will ask you/your drivers to take their own stock to the race as part of the normal race package. We realise this is made more difficult by the long haul flight we will all have to take to get to the event, but most airlines offer an extra bag for a reasonable price on these type of flights, and hopefully most guys will not be travelling alone to an event of this stature, to spread the baggage load.We would ask that any requirements you have that will require shipping to you proceeding the race, are received by November 10th to allow us sufficient time to get
the tyres to you.

Dave Duggan and Jerome Sartel from NEMO Racing will be at the race to offer help and assistance with BETA products, where we hope to enjoy a successful event and show the global audience how good BETA tyres are. We thank you for your understanding in this matter, and hope you have a great event.”
