This past weekend in Misiones, 1000 km from Buenos Aires, was held the second round of four of the Argentinian Off Road 1/8 Buggy Nationals. The track and installations were fantastic, they took the beat of the weather and mud was key factor in the Qualifying. Cars wieghting over 5kg due to mud! All in all the track held pretty well and racing was finished in the finals on sunday with an almost perfect grippy/bumpy track and no rain. After Qualifying the TQ went to Sebastian Recio Mugen/Nova/AKA followed by Adrian Castro (Xray XB9/Nova/Pro Circuit/Mecca/Ko Propo). After the semis on Sunday the first three spots in the Grid Final went to 1-Adrian Castro 2-Jeremias Centeno 3-Roberto Zigon. In the warm up of the final Adrian Castro Suffered a problem, asked for time, and started the race from the 13th spot leaving the first place to Jeremias Centeno (LOSI/Nova/Pro Circuit).

The final went on the way, the first four spots switched a lot in the first minutes between Jeremias Centeno, Roberto Zigon, Sebastian Recio and Federico Piro. Meanwhile Adrian Castro was pushing hard and closing in on the grid. Before the first fuel stop, Adrian Castro got the lead and never looked back. Second spot was secured confortably by Sebastian Recio during the rest of the race. The good fight was held for the third spot of the podium, Jeremias Centeno and Roberto Zigon put up a great show fighting for it until the last minute. In the end the last spot of the podium was for Jeremias Centeno who got it in the last two laps and was able to held on to it. With this result Adrian Castro wraps up a three week success streak with two regional wins in the previous two weekends and this Race in the last one and looking very good and confortable with his new XB9/Bonito/Pro Circuit/Mecca combo. Adrian Castro would like to thank all his sponsors for the constant trust and support.
