Over the weekend the 2011 Kanto GP qualifying race took place in Kanto, 53 drivers attended the event. Qualifying saw national champion Kazuya Tanaka take TQ infront of Kyosho team mate Takuya Kimura. The final witnessed former World Champion Atsushi Hara bow out after the half hour mark, there are reports he was running the Hot Bodies CR8 but we are unsure. Up at the sharp end Kazuya Tanaka’s pace could only be matched by none other 2007 2WD World Champ Hayato Matsuzaki. The pair finished on 86 laps after the hour-long final with Kazuya slightly ahead taking the win.
