After successfully overturning an 8-month ban (which lasted 1 race) by the Portuguese Federation, Miguel Matias was back in action this weekend at round 2 of the Portuguese Nationals. Matias’ race didn’t go quite to plan as he flamed in the final and subsequently retired. However we did notice he was sporting a couple of prototype 12 degree C-Hubs on THE JQ Car, with the stock hubs at 16 degrees, these hubs look to have been machined fairly recently, in fact we were told they were CNC’d by Portuguese JQ distributor ATO Import specifically for Miguel to test.
