Flying under the radar, Team Kyosho’s Colin Herzig laid it down at Revelation Raceway to take the win at the TLR Series Round 2.
After taking care of some family business earlier in the day, Herzig made a last minute decision to go out to the track and bump into the A main. Starting last in the 30 minute expert final, Herzig would start from the 15th spot on the grid. Colin quickly gained 3 positions, and then steadily passed his rivals one by one to gain the lead. At the end, Colin lapped all but 2nd place, and crossed the finish line with an impressive victory. A stellar drive from young Herzig to beat the likes of Colby Poh, Trevor Adamo, Drew Moller in 3rd, and Jesse Robinson in 2nd. Colin had this to say:
