Updated Euro MBX6 available in two week’s time

In our ‘chat with MSE team manager John Yves Ferte’ he let slip that Mugen would be releasing an updated version of their MBX6 buggy entitled ‘EU2011′. Saying, “…actually it’s a MBX6 + new long chassis and a few optional parts based on our European team’s feedback and that we will have to wait for more news.“, turns out we didn’t have to wait too long as we received the following photos of Robert Batlle’s EU2011 buggy, ready to go for the Silver Pennes race in Marseille this weekend.

We understand the EU2011 update will include the new longer chassis, longer center drive shaft and a set of extra springs (the 75/8.25 & 86/8.25) as well as the new plastic chassis stiffener, new body post, new alu servo horn, rear lower arm plate. The update is the result of feedback from team drivers and with the new parts the car’s handling is improved in a few areas; corner speed and stability in addition to handling and feel on bumpy tracks, a more predictable feel whilst jumping. The new springs in particular help to settle the car in higher speed sections allowing greater speed to be carried. Expect the EU2011 to be released within the next two weeks and available from all good model shops throughout Europe.
