The 2nd round of the JBRL headed to Revelation Raceway in Ontario, CA this weekend, the one day event boosted about 200 entries. Adam Drake would start on pole for the 20 min main, but a mistake from him dropped him back, meanwhile Mark Pavidis was leading, despite having broken a suspension arm during the warm up! Some quick wrenching and perhaps a slightly quickened pulse saw Pavidis lead for the first 7 laps, until he crashed and had to wait for a sluggish marshal… Drake assumed first spot once again and looked to be on course for the win, that was until he flamed out whilst pitting; despite this setback he didn’t lose much time and still had a comfortable lead. It would finish Drake, Pavidis and Castellano. Both Cody King and Dylan Rodriguez had a round to forget as the Kyosho driver was out after only and 7 mins, whilst Mugen/BCE driver Dyland lasted until 12mins. In the Truggy final, Drake TQ’d and was followed closely by Cody King. The pair checked out and stretched a lead on the rest of the field. Adam’s pit strategy forced Cody to push hard to make up time and caused him to make too many mistakes. Drake took home the victory, followed by Cody King in second and Drew Moller in third.
