An awesome finish to a tough week of qualifying for Track Star drivers Pres Ilog and Jimmy Wright.
After qualifying 2nd in Open Truggy, Pres Ilog (Track Star/Hot Bodies) fought his way to the top and lead 23 minutes of the 30 minute main running into traffic with two laps to go lost the lead in a tangle with a back marker crossing the line in a solid second. Qualifying 5th in Open Buggy Pres once again fought his way to the top battling several times for the lead with 3 other drivers. When the tone went off at the 30 minute mark Pres had a somewhat comfortable lead bringing home the win with his Alpha Plus powered, Track Star prepped, Hot Bodies D8.
Qualifying 2nd in Masters Truggy and 6th in Masters Buggy, Track Star/Tamiya/Alpha Plus driver Jimmy Wright pulled out all the stops in the A mains by taking his Tamiya 801XT to a two lap victory after taking the lead in turn 3 of the first lap of the 30 minute truggy A main and after working his way through the pack until a mid race battle for the lead turned into victory by one lap in Buggy with his Tamiya 801X.
