We already posted about this years Japanese nationals a couple of days ago, but we were sent the top 10 result and a couple more photos. As you may know, the event was cut short by rain whilst the finals were running on Sunday, the organisers had no other option than to go by the qualifying result; which saw Hara TQ. Although we hear qualifying was v.tight – only 6 seconds separating 1st-10th place. You’ll notice the tyre of choice seemed to be Pro-Line (M3 Inside Job), although WC Hayato Matsusaki opted for JConcepts. Despite the win, Hara won’t be entirely pleased considering the manner of victory; surely wanting to earn the victory in the final, however this is his 3rd national title in a row, and emphasises the impact he has had on 1/8 offroad in Japan, since entering the class back in 2003.
